The choir is performed Haydn’s - Missa Brevis No.7 in Bb ‘Little Organ Mass’ and an anthem - Hosanna to the Son of David - Weelkes on Sunday 2nd April at the Swiss Church.
A Wonderful Christmas collaboration with the London Medical Orchestra at St Mellitus Church in Tollington Park. Featuring Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Christmas Carols and three a Capella carols: Silent Night - Libby Croad, A Winter Carol - Grace Evangeline Mason and Nowell, Nowell, Nowell - Elizabeth Maconchy
HHCC sang at the Swiss Embassy to support the Christmas festive spirit of a business networking event. Performing well know Christmas carols around a grand piano and three a cappella carols.
A fantastic experience singing along with the London Jazz choir, a medley of songs by Scott Stroman in Oxford, accompanied by a jazz quartet band. A huge achievement for Rachel Maby who brought many people together for a fun and memorable performance.
The choir performed at the Swiss Church a collection of folk songs including some English, French, Spanish and Chinese songs. The choir also worked in smaller consort groups to perform pieces by Hatton and Elgar. As a tribute to the people of Ukraine, we also sang a song in Ukrainian with concert proceeds going to a Ukrainian charity.
The choir held a concert themed around the idea of Journeys and Far Away Lands at the American International Church. We performed The road not taken by Randall Thompson and My soul there is no country by Hubert Parry, two pieces reflecting journeys with contrasting traditional music from France, Spain, Brazil and two Chinese Folk songs.
The choir performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria was part of the Highbury Music Festival programme organised by a Rachel Maby to fund works on the organ at Christ Church Highbury.
